Who this is for

Private investors, family offices, and trustees who want an independent reading of portfolio risk and drawdown history — especially after a reallocation, inheritance, or a year that felt worse than the headline index.

What you receive

  • A written drawdown reconstruction for the agreed look-back period, including peak-to-trough depth and recovery length where data allows.
  • Concentration notes by issuer, sector, geography, and overlapping themes (for example multiple holdings leaning on the same rate or commodity story).
  • A plain-language map of which positions have historically amplified loss depth, and which have dampened it.
  • A short list of monitoring thresholds tailored to your book — not a generic traffic-light score.
  • A closing session to walk through findings and answer questions from advisers you invite.

What is not included

We do not provide regulated investment advice to buy or sell specific securities, nor do we manage discretionary portfolios. Tax structuring and legal opinion sit with your existing counsel. Execution and custody remain with your brokers and custodians.

How the engagement runs

  1. Briefing call (45–60 minutes) — goals, constraints, custodians, and the period you care about most.
  2. Data intake — statements, transaction history, and any internal allocation notes you choose to share under our confidentiality terms.
  3. Analysis — risk and drawdown reconstruction; we flag gaps if holdings or dates are incomplete.
  4. Draft delivery — written report for your review; you may request clarification before the final session.
  5. Close-out session — discussion of findings; optional attendance by your adviser.

Preparation

Please gather year-end and interim statements covering at least the agreed look-back (commonly five to ten years). Illiquid private holdings should include the latest valuation memo and any capital call history you hold.

Fee & next step

The flagship review starts at £4,800 for a single taxable account or consolidated view of up to roughly forty line items. Larger multi-custody books are quoted after the briefing call. Request this engagement and note “risk review” in your message.
